Our Mission
Our mission is to change minds about mental health and wellness, encourage treatment, and promote intentional self-care among law enforcement and their families.
We achieve this through a two-pronged approach:
Collaborative Workforce Development:
We partner with law enforcement agencies to proactively and intentionally train first responders to effectively work with individuals living with mental illness and other high risk behaviors. Through training, workshops, consultations, and coaching, we aim to eliminate the excessive use of force in lawsuits and complaints, improve law enforcement skills, and boost officer morale.
Compassionate Mental Health Care:
We provide compassionate mental health care to law enforcement personnel and their families who have faced challenging professional and personal situations or traumatic events. Our services include psychoeducation, mental health treatment, empowerment, and support for those charged with protecting and serving the community during times of complex trauma, challenging life situations, and mental health issues.
